Compared to the Boston Scientific Encore inflation device, it has a smoother pullback for saline/contrast load prep and a better grip for hand placement. It rotates more easily to the desired ATM than the Encore inflation device. The Encore has a snap-and-click feel to it that is rather sketchy, but the AccuFlate is strong and holds its pressure.
